How Did it Begin?
A few years ago, a friend and I were talking about praising God. We asked ourselves, "What if we praise God for the difficulties that occur in our lives just as much as we praise Him for the blessings that He gives? Shouldn't we praise God for the good and the bad?" We can learn to hold on to God and learn to trust Him in the difficult times and thank God for the lessons learned just as much as He bestows blessings upon us.
Short Testimony
I had a temporary job and I was running out of time to find a new job. I was hoping that I could continue with the job that I had. God allowed the job to be prolonged for a few months longer, but then it ended. I was worried and didn't know what to do. I remembered the conversation with my friend about praising God for difficult situations. So, I praised God for how He had been in my life, for His many blessings, and that He had always provided for me in every situation. I praised Him for specific things and then prayed for my family and friends. Almost two months later, God provided me with a job. Don't stop praying and praising God.
The Purpose
To bring children closer to Jesus through thanksgiving, praise, and prayer. Here, you can find some illustrated activities that focus on God and His blessings.
